Schools and mental health hubs

We must raise school standards for every child in Shipley constituency and ensure they are prepared for the future. The Conservatives failed to provide our local schools with the desperately needed support and provisions. 

The children in our community deserve better. I have pledged to do everything possible to secure more money for our local schools. 

One of the most significant barriers to learning that has become more prominent over the last decade is poor mental health. The struggle to access support is paralysing children and young people through their formative years. I will push firmly for this issue to be addressed in Parliament and have prioritised ensuring that the young people in our community have access to specialist mental health hubs.
